Social Entrepreneurship Summit

International Summit on Building a Thriving Social Enterprise Ecosystem in Pakistan

The international summit, “Building a Thriving Social Enterprise Ecosystem in Pakistan,” is the first of its kind event designed to ignite a national dialogue on the importance and potential of social enterprises in driving sustainable development across the country. Hosted by Social Innovation Academy (SIA) Pakistan in collaboration with Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) and Arweqah Saudi  academics, and students, all united by a shared goal: to foster a robust social enterprise ecosystem in Pakistan.

With social enterprises increasingly recognized as vital drivers of positive social, environmental, and economic change, this conference seeks to shine a spotlight on the innovative solutions they offer to some of the country’s most pressing challenges. From poverty alleviation and education to healthcare and environmental sustainability, social enterprises in Pakistan are uniquely positioned to address gaps in both market efficiency and social equity. However, despite their promise, these enterprises often face significant hurdles—limited access to finance, fragmented policy support, and lack of awareness. This summit aims to address these challenges by creating a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to advance the social enterprise culture.

Key Features of the Summit

In addition to knowledge-sharing and skill-building, this conference aims to inspire a new
generation of social entrepreneurs and advocates to take bold steps toward solving Pakistan’s most pressing challenges through innovative and sustainable business solutions.
