The SIA x Microenterprise Training Program with Manzil and Islamic Relief is designed to bridge the gap between technical skills and sustainable livelihoods by turning skilled individuals into confident, informed micro-entrepreneurs. Through interactive, context-based sessions, participants from diverse trades such as stitching, beautician services, cooking, carpentry and electrical work learn how to calculate costs, set realistic prices, understand profit and manage simple financial records. The training goes beyond theory: each participant develops a basic business plan rooted in their own daily realities, identifies potential customers and competitors, and explores how to position their services in the local market. Along the way, they build confidence, strengthen their communication skills and begin to see themselves not just as workers, but as business owners capable of planning, growing and sustaining their own enterprises. This programme is a step towards more secure, dignified and self-reliant futures for right holders and their families.
