The Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) Phase I, implemented by Social Innovation Academy (SIA), successfully brought together 500 women from across Balochistan for practical entrepreneurship training, business development, and skills building.
The closing ceremony marked the culmination of the programme, with Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi joining to recognize participants’ achievements and present certificates and tablets to support their continued learning and entrepreneurial development.
Throughout the programme, participants gained practical knowledge in developing business ideas, understanding markets, managing finances, and building sustainable enterprises. WEDP Phase I represents an important step toward strengthening women’s economic participation and expanding entrepreneurial opportunities across Balochistan.
500 women. Multiple districts. One shared vision: building a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem in Balochistan. WEDP Phase I has laid the foundation for women to turn knowledge into opportunity and ideas into impact.
