Building a Stronger Balochistan by Empowering Women

The Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP), an initiative of the Government of Balochistan, has successfully completed its two-week entrepreneurship training across districts of Balochistan, empowering 500 women with practical knowledge and skills to strengthen their businesses.

Implemented by Social Innovation Academy (SIA) in collaboration with 360 Marketing, the program represents an important step toward increasing women’s participation in entrepreneurship and strengthening the local business ecosystem across the province.

Throughout the training, participants developed practical skills in cash flow management, business model plans, Business Model Canvas, business planning, risk management, and strategies for overcoming business challenges and managing losses. The training focused on building participants’ capacity to make informed business decisions and strengthen the sustainability of their enterprises.

WEDP reflects the importance of creating opportunities where women can build their confidence, strengthen their enterprises, and contribute to the economic development of their communities.
