Social Innovation Academy (SIA), in collaboration with Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project (BHCIP) – a World Bank funded Project, conducted a 3-day training workshop titled “Social Mobilization and Interpersonal Communication for District Community Staff”. This initiative aimed to address gaps in community engagement and communication strategies within immunization programs. Team SIA developed curriculum manuals both in Urdu in English for community-level social mobilizers, covering topics like social mobilization, community engagement, and behavior change communication. The training equipped participants with essential tools for navigating challenges in immunization initiatives in their communities.
Employing dynamic methodologies such as discussions, role plays, and group activities, the training facilitated meaningful exchanges and practical application of theoretical knowledge. Pre-and post-tests, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts reinforced learning, enhancing retention of key concepts.
