About the programme
Microenterprise training is for people who run a very small business, often from home or a market stall, and want to earn more from it.
SIA delivered this training with Islamic Relief and Manzil. CONFIRM: the years, districts and number of cohorts.
Across all its programmes, SIA counts more than 3,500 microentrepreneurs who completed an SIA business training course. That figure covers every programme, not this one alone.
Ideate
This training now lives in Ideate: entrepreneurship training, the Business Model Canvas and micro-grants for the top 10%.

What we can share
The figure for all programmes is on the Live Impact Dashboard, with its definition and date. A breakdown by programme will follow when SIA’s MEL database is connected.
CONFIRM: participants trained in this programme, how many were women, and any follow-up results such as income or business survival.

How SIA reports results
Every figure SIA publishes has a definition, a source and an "as of" date, and the same number appears on every page, proposal and report. A figure without an agreed definition is not published until it has one.
That is why some results on this page are still marked for checking: they will appear here once they are confirmed.
Work with SIA on a programme like this
SIA designs and delivers programmes with donors, government and companies, and measures every result.
